Customer Review: Great TV. Very pleased so far.
I’ve had this TV for about 3 weeks now and I am very pleased thus far. I did an agonizing amount of research and this seemed like the best deal for a 52″ TV. I went with the 120HZ as I heard it enhanced viewing sports and was a definate plus with Blu Ray (which I do not yet have). I cant really judge this feature as I have no point of reference. HD programming looks outstanding as do DVD’s. I expected bad sound and this was the case. But a few days ago we switched from Direct TV to Comcast and my wife and I were stunned at how much better the TV sounded. Night and day. Why this is I do not know….
The blacks on this screen are very dark and look outstanding. Just watched “The Descent” which is an extremely dark movie and it looked just great.
Anyway I recommend this TV if you are looking for an affordable 52″ from a reputable manufacturer.

Customer Review: Sharp LC52SB55U – Excellent Value!
I purchased this TV from B&M Best Buy for $1,199 + 4 yr Black Tie warranty ($99) + Free in-home calibration. I price matched it against their own web site when it was $1,899 and their site had it for $1,299, then later I price matched it again when they added the free in-home calibration, price was reduced $1,000 and the warranty was $50 cheaper. Yeah, I think it was a steal. It was at the low end of my planned budget too so I couldn’t have asked for a better deal.

Mitsubishi LT-52151 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with Integrated Sound Projector, Black –

Sharp’s UltraBrilliant LED system illuminates the TV to extremely high brightness and contrast levels and enables significant environmental benefits such as longer life expectancy, no heavy metals and lower power consumption. At the same time, the XGen LCD Panel utilizes an ingeniously devised pixel design that permits more light to pass through even while minimizing light leakage, with the result being the deepest black levels that AQUOS has ever achieved. Overall, the LE700 series shows that with Sharp, it’s not just LED… it’s AQUOS LED.
Customer Review: Brilliant picture for a great price
I was a bit hesitant to buy this TV as I was waiting for a price drop on the Samsung LN52B750 52-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV with Charcoal Grey Touch of Color for several days. Then, at Fry’s I saw Sharp’s new LC52LE700UN standing next to Samsung’s LN52B750 and they both looked quite similar, though Samsung’s screen was slightly brighter. The picture quality appeared to be the same. I grabbed the Sharp’s remote and changed the picture settings and I was able to increase the backlight up to match Samsung’s level while still maintaining amazing contrast ratio and black levels.
