Customer Review: its a great deal!
My wife and I couldn’t be happier with our purchase. This 52LX177 has a commendable picture quality, and makes our older 27″ flat screen TV look outdated. We appreciate the ‘no reflection’ properties of LCD Screen – our well lit aquarium and open blinds in the background do not reflect off the TV – infact you forget they’re even there! I have heard of inherent `blurring’ with LCDs, but when comparing this with my brother-in-law’s 42″ Plasma I didn’t see any unusual blurring on this set – I believe the minimal blurring I saw on selected programs was in the source rather than the TV. One thing I’m still trying to figure out is the difference between 120hz and 60hz – so far they both seem the same even in fast moving action scenes, although I’m sure there is some inherent advantage in 120hz that I haven’t noticed yet. The viewing angle is great.. even if I stand adjacent to the set, every bit of the program is as clear as when seen from front of the TV! Now I can’t wait to get a Blue Ray player once those come down to an affordable price, so I can enjoy movies in 1080p! I would recommend this TV to anyone.
Customer Review: Exceptional TV
We purchased the Toshiba 52 Regza after researching many brands & models wanting the best set for the money.
In a side by side comparision between the Sony & Sharp Aquos – the Toshiba had a superior picture. I was frankly surprised, initially anticipated the Sony with its much higher price tag would be the best & had intended to purchase the Sharp Aquos but the Toshiba won out hands down in comparision.
Since we have purchased the Toshiba 2 months ago – am completely satisfied with the high quality level of the picture.
The sound could be improved but I use a Bose home theater so the sound eminating from the set is not a major consideration.
Colors are true – black is black & in HD mode its incredible.

Customer Review: ID BUY IT AGAIN!!!!
I purchased this tv for 2k when it first came out, it was 2500, but i got it on sale, overall id pay the same amount and buy it all over again. The on screen menu’s are extremely user friendly, and the options are amazing it has 4 hdmi ports so you dont need much more, also has component so you can hook up and old equipment as well. The 120hz live motion is Phenominal and takes viewing to a whole other level, The picture is extremely clear, crisp and vibrant, especially when you run blu rays. I love watching tv more than ever!!! You do get a tad of blur on live motion around moving objects but not too noticeable and nothing more than any other lcd on the market. For 1500 bux this tv is a steal. Does not run hot and for the last year ive had 0 problems with this tv..It is a high performer and the thin outline around tv gives you all 52″ that you want. Every time some one comes over there amazed at the sheer size and classy look of this tv. But when i turn it on and demo a blu ray in live motion, they look at me and are literatly speechless. They dont even say anything there just trying to process how the tv is displaying the way it does.LOL!! No Joke. 1500 is worth this tv, if you are looking for a 52″. I want a bigger 65″ plus but im waiting for prices to adjust just because i love huge displays but i love this tv!!! PHENOMINAL AND ID BUY IT AGAIN!!!!
Customer Review: Fantastic TV, specially if you are tight for space
Bought this TV around 1 month back. The product quality is awesome and seems quite well made. The TV picture quality is amazing, specially for an “average” TV viewer like me. On top of it picture options are quite customizable too. I am feeling my TV viewing experience has improved quite a bit.

Customer Review: Great TV with one minor annoyance…
I have owned this TV for several months, and definitely enjoy the picture size and quality. As many people have pointed out, the default sound settings are not very good, but you can improve them by modifying the settings or hooking the TV up to an A/V receiver. The only problem I have with the TV is when hooked up via HDMI, when I change inputs (DVR to DVD player) or even change channels where the resolution changes (720p to 1080i), there is delay where the screen goes black and a “Searching for Signals” message appears. Occasionally during this process is an audible pop. I don’t fully know the reason for this, but after searching on the internet, it has something to do with the “HDMI handshake”. Regardless, the solution is to just hit mute when changing inputs. This can be annoying and detracts from my enjoyment of the TV; that’s why it is getting four stars.
Customer Review: Awesome
I have owned this TV for going on a year now. It has been fantastic. The picture quality is insanely clear. I’ve watched plenty of fast action sports and could not discern any “motion blur” whatsoever. There’s literally tons of info on the internet as how to tweak the color settings in the TV’s menus to make it really pop out and to save you some life out of the set. The set itself is really beautiful as well. We’ve had tons of compliments on the asthetics and piano finish. Overall a fantastic buy..especially at what it is now compared to when I bought mine. Good luck and happy viewing.

Customer Review: great tv for the money
I got this tv at Sam’s about a month ago for $1300. 52″ screen looks just as good as my dads led lcd that he paid 4k. There may be a difference when software catches up. I just thought I would share because the price shown here is considerably more than what I paid. I Have a 72″ mitsi dlp also and the pictures are the same as far as quality. Phillips makes a great product.
Customer Review: Best Multisystem TV
Note that this TV will work with 110- 220V and with NTSC as well as PAL signal- thus this is a truly multisystem TV and that was a key criterion for me. I compared this also to the only somewhat multisytem TV on the market(Sharp) Additionally:
