Customer Review: Simply Amazing
I recently purchased this television and I love it. As with all large LCD, DLP, or plasma, the picture is not very good if you are not watching Hi-Def programming. But the Hi-Def picture is perfect. I watched the Lakers/Magic playoff game last night and could not have been more pleased with the picture.

The design of the tv is wonderful as well. It has a semi-matte screen and when the tv is on I have not seen ANY reflections (which is why I did not buy a samsung). When the tv is off the reflections are minimal. The bezel around the tv is very small which makes it very attractive for wall mounting. The remote is actually pretty nice and lights up.

Customer Review: Love this TV
Bought my Diamond Mits from Amazon when they had only 3 left in stock. The TV arrived perfectly within 1 week of the order. Since it came out of PA and I live in CA I was amazed how fast it came. Yes, as mentioned by others, you have to set it up yourself but it only weighs about 75 pounds so two people can get it up. I happened to wall mount mine and it looks great. I have a 5.1 Dolby system so do not use the internal speakers. I don’t see why Mits does not make the speakers detachable as a lot of folks buying this high end set don’t need them. That would make this great looking set with its ultra-thin bezel even look better! This set is only 3″ wider than my old 46″ Sharp LCD. The thin bezel and wall mount add great beauty even when the set is turned off. The picture needs a lot of tweeking once you set it up. These manufacturers set the picture for TV stores not homes but once you get the back light, contrast, brightness, color, etc. set to your liking you will not find a better picture on any LCD TV. You hear about black levels on LCD TV’s not being as good as plasma (particularly the Pioneer Elite). This Mits Diamond has absolutely outstanding black levels as well as really natural colors. Many have mentioned the 3D effect and that is very true. Make sure you set each input (ie Satellite or Cable, DVD, Antenna inputs, etc. separately as there are some differences in each input setting. I use a universal remote control and have each input set to discrete so I don’t even use the input toggle at all so switching inputs is a snap. Many have mentioned how great this set looks in a room with a lot of windows and that is true. Some other brands of LCD TV’s have screens that are not to much better than plasma with a lot of glare (ie Samsung). This set does not have that problem. Please do not underestimate that really thin bezel-it really looks great. You may pay a bit more for this set but you will not regret it.
